About the Role
Join a dynamic team as a Business Development focused Account Manager, where your primary focus will be acquiring new clients within the European top 1000 Food-FMCG market. Our services are essential for Sales, Marketers and Product Developers to make fact based decisions and strategies. The customers can rely on our solid market intelligence, databases and services for their success. Clients can be large corporate household brands, mid-sized or even start-/scale-ups, as long as they value their product development and marketing. You will sell the services to new clients across Europe. However, if you are a Native Speaker in German, French or Spanish, there are also options to focus on your specific language region. You are the ‘hunter’ type of salesperson who seeks freedom for entrepreneurship. Book a flight, be gone to Spain for a week, no questions asked as long as you bring back the business. We're seeking motivated individuals with strong business acumen and a passion for sales who are eager to learn and contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through effective business development strategies
  • Identify and acquire new clients in the Food-FMCG sector
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead-follow-up to deal closure
  • Schedule calls, demo’s and personal visits with potential customers
  • Work together with the marketing (including lead gen) department
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to network and build business connections

Eisen

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc level education, minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience
  • Prior consultative B2B sales experience in FMCG is a plus
  • Familiarity with sales tools (CRM or LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within Europe
  • Fluent in English or German, French, Spanish
  • (Dutch is not! a requirement, company language is English)
